| O Parque Estadual do Cantão é uma área protegida no rio Araguaia. Em um inventário realizado durante um ciclo hidrológico completo, foram capturadas 271 espécies de peixes, pertencentes a 183 gêneros, 41 famílias e 12 ordens. Characidae foi a família mais diversa com 89 espécies (32,6% do total), seguida por Loricariidae com 23 espécies (8,4%) e Cichlidae com 21 espécies (7,7%), dez famílias foram representadas por uma única espécie. Os resultados mostraram que o PE Cantão é uma área com alta diversidade de espécies de peixes, e que as assembleias ainda estão bem preservadas, de modo que a existência e manutenção deste Parque é de alto interesse para a preservação da fauna de peixes do rio Araguaia. |

| The Réserve Naturelle Marine (Natural Marine Reserve) of La Réunion island has been created recently (2007) for managing the coral reef of La Réunion West coast. In this area, traditional shore fisheries and spear-fishing are now regulated, controlled and under scientific survey in order to optimize the management of these fisheries, mainly leisure activities. | Belmont Stream is the main tributary of the Madeira River in the area immediately downriver from the Santo Antonio Fall. Samplings were carried out using gill nets in the mouth of this stream between May 2005 and April 2006 and resulted in a list of 74 species. The analyses included values of composition, constancy of occurrence, species richness, abundance, Catch Per Unit of Effort and trophic structure about the ten most abundant species. | The growth study of s tripped Mullet, from the Bay of Biscaye, from April to June is managed by scale reading. Sorne difficulties appear with the interpretation female scales. The Analysis of ovaries confirms that spring is the period of reproduction, and shows that the age of first reproduction is two year (65 %) or one year old (35 %). Secondly, the exploitation of various statistic data shows the evolution of landings of Stripped Mullet in several harbours, and especially in les Sables d'Olonne, since 1962. | Se usó el modelo lineal generalizado (MLG) para estandarizar el índice de abundancia relativa, captura por unidad de esfuerzo (CPUE) de anchoveta (Engraulis ringens), sardina (Sardinops sagax) y jurel (Trachurus murphyi), en la zona norte de Chile (18º21-24ºS), entre 1987 y 1997. Para la anchoveta se toma en cuenta la categoría de embarcación, la zona de pesca, la fase lunar, la estación del año, el año y la temperatura superficial del mar (TSM). | The stocks of whiting (Merlangius merlangus), pollack (Pollachius pollachius) and striped red mullet (Mullus surmuletus), are considered by ICES as Data Limited Stocks (DLS) for the Bay of Biscay areas, those bordering the Iberian Peninsula as well as the Celtic Sea for red mullet. In the case of insufficient data for an analytical assessment, ICES has recommended, for 2013 and 2014, to precautionarily reduce landings by 20 % compared to the period 2009-2011 for these 3 stocks. | The document presents an overall summary of the fishing activities of the European and assimilated purse seine and bait boat fleets operating in the eastern Atlantic Ocean over the period 1991-2017. We describe the annual changes in fleet technical characteristics (carrying capacity, size), fishing effort (fishing and searching days), extent of fishing grounds, catches and nominal Catch per Unit Effort by species, as well as the average individual weight by species. Maps are also presented indicating the fishing effort distribution in the Atlantic, as well as the spatio-temporal distribution of European and assimilated purse seine catches in 2017 compared to previous years (2010-2016). |
